Class of 51

The second class to graduate from MRHS. There we are in all our youth and with the world and our lives ahead of us. Great group! It's very special that many of us have kept in touch over the years. Unfortunately a number have passed away. Yet, the rest of us have a Reunion coming up in July. How many will we recognicze ?

Memorial and Cemetery

We may forget that lives were lost during WWII on this side of the Atlantic. Some were as a result of accidents during training flights with the British Commonwealth Air Training Plan. Some of these airmen are buried with this BCATP Memorial in the Holy Trinity Cemetery in Lower Middleton.

margaretsville Light

Received this thank you card from the Toronto Fishers awhile back. It was printed from an original watercolor painting, "Margaretsville Light," by Christine Ritchie. Margaretsville was an important part of our youth. Hey, I need a picture or painting of the ice cream parlours.

Falcourt Inn

I borrowed this fine picture from the Falcourt Inn web site; hope they don't mind. http://www.falcourtinn.ns.ca/ We have enjoyed staying there on several occasions and we've also had special meals there as well. I imagine it's booked for the Reunion in July. (Many of us remember it as the Max Napthall (?) place. )
